Personal

Born in Hot Springs, South Dakota, and in 1953 moved to Park County living in Yellowstone NP. Went to first grade in Park County. My father's job as a Park Ranger took me to Nebraska (twice), Washington DC (twice), Maryland, Arizona, and California. My own work and life has allowed me to live in Colorado, Utah, California, Arizona, Virginia,
Wyoming, US Virgin Islands, Mississippi, and now back to Park County, Wyoming.

My wife was a college English Professor and has been a national leader in substance abuse prevention strategies for 30 years. I have 3 children. One boy, two girls with the youngest being born in Cody. Altogether 5 grandchildren and my 93-year-old mother still lives in Arizona along with a brother.
